Here are my recommendations, in order of preference, of modern Indian restaurants in Dubai that have taken our home cuisine to a supreme level:


Tresind Dubai

Also present in Mumbai, Tresind has always been the best pick for modern Indian dining in Dubai. The restaurant ranks first in the list for its epic variety of dishes that is beyond thoughts. The chic ambience, impeccable service, breathtaking live dishes and the overall experience makes every penny spent worthwhile.

Pincode by Kunal Kapur

Owned by world renowned Chef Kunal Kapur, Pincode at Dubai Hills Mall is the latest favourite pick when it comes to relishing Indian Food with an experience of a lifetime. The USP of this place is that the dishes are carefully thought about and presented so well that you feel like digging in at the site of it.


Must try: Cornetto Chaat, Spinach Burrata and Honey Desserts

Carnival by Tresind


Located in the financial epicentre of Dubai – DIFC, Carnival is another home-grown brand known for its lunch menu and a special chef tasting menu. It’s a perfect place for a hearty lunch or celebration dinner with your family. The USP of Carnival is when the chef prepares live dessert on your table.


Must try: 4-course lunch menu and chef tasting menu

Punjab Grill


This award winning place offers authentic Indian flavours while you go on a journey of gastronomic pleasure. The place has a vibrant vibe while you encounter delicious dishes coming out of their live kitchen. What makes it different is that the service at this place is commendable.
