Remember that scene in Housefull 2 when Akshay Kumar or John Abraham looked at their respective loaded father-in-laws Rishi and Randhir Kapoor and imagined a halo of currency notes around their heads? That is exactly what came to our minds when we met Ashok Tiwari and his team. In their most rudimentary role, Ashok and his team make sure that your salaries magically appear in your bank accounts on the first of every month, and maintain the financial prudence of the Group.
The bank vault of the Lodha Ventures Group of Companies, the Group Finance Team is the final bastion of all things money. Ashok, who is the Group Financial Controller, leads a team of five – Rakesh Singh, Lavisha Jain, Sagar Gawde, Rajendra Tawde and Prathmesh Desai. Apart from us measly employees, this team also keeps our sister companies financially healthy by ensuring timely availability of funds, undertakes regular internal audits for all brands, maintains financial liquidity and availability across business cycles, and also helps each company improve various financial parameters and their balance sheets. They are also actively involved in planning and developing Annual Operating Plans of all LV Group companies. Apart from all this, they have taxes. The taxation vertical is led by Vikas Shah. The Central Management Information System (MIS), which maintains all the financial reports and records are headed by Ashish Aggarwal.
