My love for seas, oceans, beaches, and sunsets, began during my final year studies when I was asked to work on a design project with the concept of long lost tribes of India. I chose the tribe from Africa who migrated to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Here’s a glimpse of my project that converted me from a city girl to yet another Opacarophile (lover of sunsets) and Thalassophile (lover of the sea):
Now let’s visit my “Little Paradise”. This place is a tree shade in the burning heat of life. The journey begins with foggy mountain roads surrounded by big trees, small lakes, waterfalls, animals going on their daily feed trails in a herd, basically nature flaunting everything it has to offer. Little Paradise by SaffronStays in Murud, Maharashtra stands true to its name.
The stay has a private beach with beautiful and cozy sea-facing wooden cottages, perfect for a weekend getaway with a small group of friends and family or a romantic outing with your partner.
There are three cottages to avoid crowing the nature’s serenity. You will be surrounded by beautiful blooms, your own fairytale swing, and four-legged furry tour guide. Disclaimer: They have wet nose and might lick you every now and then.
I have always lived in the city and enjoy that chaotic life where time runs faster than light. However. when I reached SaffronStays Little Paradise, time stopped when the nature showed all it’s beautiful hues. This wholesome stay costs Rs 6,000 for a couple per night and is truly a depiction of heaven above, sand below, and peace within. The experience is like finding your own little place out of nowhere. It’s hard to describe the wholesomeness of this visit in enough words as it is one of those things that can only be felt.
