PoSH: A Safe Workplace

Every organisation is required to sensitise its employees regarding the PoSH Law

People are the most valuable asset of any company and it is each person's duty as individuals to create a safe and inclusive environment. Lodha Ventures's ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace’ (PoSH) policy is framed to create a safe and comfortable work environment for all employees, free from any form of sexual harassment. To ensure equal protection of law, protection against all forms of discrimination and protection of life and personal liberty, the PoSH policy is gender neutral and provides coverage to all genders equally.

Every organisation is required to sensitise its employees regarding the PoSH Law. To train our employees about the PoSH policy, a mandatory e-learning course has been launched for all Group Companies.

As per the ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013’, every organization must appoint an Internal Committee (IC) for redressal of complaints of sexual harassment. In total, 6 ICs have been formed, each IC comprising members of respective Group Company. Neha Kedia (Senior PoSH Consultant) has been empanelled as External Member on all the 6 ICs.

The PoSH Law requires that IC Members be trained so that they are able to inquire into complaints effectively as per process under Law. The Group L&D Team organized a full day workshop for all the IC members of the Group Companies on 12th April 2023. Senior trainer Vishal Bhasin from CSDT (Centre for Skill Development & Training) facilitated the workshop. The workshop was insightful and appreciated by all the participants.

With a robust anti-harassment policy and effective sensitisation practices, the policy aims to create a protected working atmosphere that ensures positivity, excellence and productivity.
