Lodha Ventures Foundation organised two dental screening camps at schools in Dapoli
Understanding the importance of maintaining oral hygiene as a step to promote overall health and wellness, Lodha Ventures Foundation recently organised two dental screening camps at schools in Aade village, Dapoli, Maharashtra.
The camps were conducted under LVF's Mobile Medical Unit health initative, in collaboration with Yogita Dental College at Khed, for students across Z.P. Aade Padle School and Aana Saheb Bhahere School.
A total of 106 patients, comprising 62 male and 44 female members of the community, underwent the screening and were given clear diagnosis of their oral health.
Earlier, in the month of July 2023, LVF conducted an insightful session at Savardev Vidyamandir Zilla Parishad School in Burondi, Dapoli, for 54 students. The session focused on the importance of dental hygiene, providing students with valuable knowledge on maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
By addressing topics such as dental cleaning techniques, overall cleanliness, and dental health-related diseases, the session aimed at instilling good oral care habits that will benefit students. The primary objective of the session was to educate school children about the significance of dental hygiene and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Additionally, the students were educated about the potential diseases and conditions that can arise from poor dental health.
