The brand slashed product design snag by 83 per cent in just one and a half years
Providing quality products and experience is of utmost importance at Bonito Designs. Reiterating the same, recently, Bonito Designs, managed to slash the product design snag percentage from 7 per cent to a commendable 1.2 per cent in just one and a half year.
This extraordinary 83 per cent reduction in snag costs resulted in substantial productivity savings of approximately Rs 1.4 crore per annum, setting a new benchmark for the entire interior design industry.
A team of five, led by Rishabh Rakesh, Head of Quality, Bonito Designs, presented a case study 'The SNAG Story' at the Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS) Convention organized by the Indian Society for Quality (ISQ) as an industrial competition on ‘Structured Problem Solving'.
With the utilisation of data science and statistical tools & techniques such as Fishbone Analysis, Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and Control-Impact Matrix, the problem once solved doesn’t repeat again and results are long term sustained. PDCA: Plan-Do-Check-Act approach is used to control the SNAG and register sustainable results that are tangibly quantified in terms of key business indicators related to cost, delivery, speed, quality, and productivity.
Bonito Designs was the only brand that participated at the convention from the interior design industry and gained huge applause from the jury for presenting their case study, prominently, for the numbers they achieved in a short span of time.
